Meet the cheapest Porsche 911 in the metro Atlanta area.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
I'm not actually in a position to buy another car, but surely buying the cheapest 911 in the area couldn't be THAT bad an idea, right? It's a 911. Just change the oil regularly, and it won't break, right?

Cheapest 911 for sure, but there are surely a handful of 944s more than 10k cheaper.

Hell at that price if the engine implodes you could install another 911 engine. Or an LS V8.

$15K for a 911 Cab? I'll bet someone left the top down during a rainstorm. That or someone was murdered in it.
I vote CP.

That's about the going rate for a 996.1
I'd buy it though

I think we all hope the engine in our cars will blow up so we'll have an excuse to LS swap it.
Also, my sources tell me you've been spotted at a certain pizza joint, but I haven't seen your Oppo food review of it yet.

And $13k, if you don't trust that one:

But certainly buy it on credit, so you 1. save your cash for the inevitable repairs and 2. build up your credit rating to afford the inevitably required unobtainium parts.

Haha yeah. A dead engine isn't a problem. It's an Opportunity
Oh yes I did check it out. I am behind on Oppo food reviews. There are a few places I should write about

The IMS issue can be fixed. Just buy an improved aftermarket bearing.
While you're at it (you have to drop the 'box), change the clutch. Total cost:
-$500 for the bearing
-$500 for the clutch
-$1 000 for labour
$2 000 for a reliable engine and a clutch job.
I'd get a fixed top, but apart from that it's about what a 996 3.4 is worth.

At those miles you wont have any IMS issues. If it hasn't been replaced with a factory IMS or the LN IMS then most likely the one that's in right now was fine from the start. Just make sure a clutch and RMS has been done recently and you're golden. I'd buy.

everybody who doesn't already own a 911 should do this. 911s for everybody!
